The Departure of a Legend: Farewell, ShirraQ!
One of our original founding pioneers, and our very first shot-caller, ShirraQ, is hanging up his primary Jianghu blade to explore new realms. To say he played a vital role in our history would be an understatement. Back when we were just a wandering band of casual souls relying heavily on Smart Assist to crawl through Hero Realms, ShirraQ was the master in charge of whipping us into shape.
He helped ensure our guildies fixed their builds, optimized their talents, and actually survived the trials. From those chaotic first steps to our very first coordinated victories in Guild Wars, his calls guided our flow. And while we will forever be grateful for his mechanical guidance, we will perhaps most fondly remember his infamous, unadulterated victory battle cry after a hard-fought scrim, a passionate phrase that will forever echo in our Discord history, “Suck My &^%#”.
Though he is moving on to different gaming horizons, ShirraQ remains an invaluable part of the wider 无为DoNothing community as we expand our relaxed philosophy beyond the borders of Where Winds Meet. Thank you, ShirraQ, for carrying us this far and helping us build this sanctuary. You will always have a seat at our tavern.
Carrying the Flag: Welcoming Our New Vice Master, 三体 (Blank)
As we bid farewell to one pioneer, another steps up to guide our effortless flow. We are incredibly thrilled to announce that 三体 (Blank) is officially stepping into the role of Vice Master!
Also a pioneering member of the guild, Blank has long been a core shot-caller and an absolute force to be reckoned with when the drums of Guild War sound. Let’s be honest, we could not have comfortably maintained our cherished Jesting God status and ranking without his fierce dedication. Beyond his battlefield prowess, Blank has been the unsung hero of our frontline, actively investigating gameplay mechanics, sharing deep knowledge, and working tirelessly to perfect our tank players' builds.
What truly sets him apart, however, is his immense patience and incredibly helpful personality. Whether he is breaking down complex mechanics for the hundredth time or calmly steering us through chaos, his steady guidance keeps the guild grounded. Lately, he’s been putting that brilliant strategic mind to work in our Tower runs, consistently spotting clever new ways to conquer the mechanics and pushing our progression to heights we hadn't dreamed of reaching.
We are incredibly grateful to Blank for stepping up to carry the 无为DoNothing flag. With a sharp blade, a patient mind, and a light heart, we look forward to reaching even greater heights together, without ever breaking our relaxed stride.
