A little sad but excited at the same time
It is with a heavy heart (and a very light skip in our step) that we officially bid farewell to our V1 Guild Base. This quaint little village was the foundation of our community, a place where many of us first met, laughed until our lungs hurt, and retreated for some much-needed wuwei relaxation after high-stakes raids.
V1 was perfect for aesthetic screenshots under the bamboo, but let’s be honest. It was time. As we’ve grown, so have our ambitions. Fresh off our best performance yet, hitting Stealth Jester 16 in the latest tournament, we’ve simply outgrown the old "home sweet home." We need a space that reflects a guild on the rise, and a tiny village just doesn't cut it anymore.
A massive, sentimental shoutout goes to AegisFall. Though he’s moved on to focus on family, we haven't forgotten that he built the very walls that housed our first memories. We are forever grateful for the sanctuary he provided.
That being said... the maze is gone. We can finally stop hearing the muffled cries of members who took a wrong turn three days ago and never found the exit. No more getting stuck in the hedges during a "relaxing" break!
While we’ll miss the nostalgia of V1, we are looking forward to the future of our Where Winds Meet journey. Out with the old, in with the bigger, better, and maze-free.
